1 . RAMS
PICK: Cal , QB, Jared Goff
The rams choose to go with the Cali signal caller. It makes the most sense as their isn't really a clear favorite between him and went. The rams want to make a splash in the LA fan base and Wentz is too ugly to be the pick. |
2
PICK: North Dakota state, QB Carson Wentz
PICK: North Dakota state, QB Carson Wentz
Philly decided to move up which I don't think was a bad move. In my opinion if you don't have a true starter keep pressing until you get one. Wentz gets a lot of flak for coming fro ma D1AA school but he's a really solid prospect. He's a big athlete who ran a pro style offense and made big plays in big moments. |
3.
PICK: Oregon, DE Deforest Buckner
PICK: Oregon, DE Deforest Buckner
Buckner made a late press up the draft board but team have been in love with him this whole time and tried playing off their interest in him. He's an absolute freak who has a perfect combination of speed, size, athleticism and instincts. A lot of prospect view him as a slam dunk pick and it wouldn't be a surprise to see the chargers go with him here |
4.
PICK: Ohio State, DE Joey Bosa
PICK: Ohio State, DE Joey Bosa
Jerry Jones makes a tough call here and goes with Bosa over Ramsey. They desperately need help on the D line with one of their lineman being suspended and the other being a piece of shit human woman beater who no longer plays in the NFL. |
5.
PICK: UCLA, LB Myles Jack
This pick makes way too much sense. Gus Bradly is gushing about Jack and rightly so. He's a defensive minded head coach with the opportunity to get the best defensive player in the draft. Jack has absolutely everything you'd want in a linebacker. |
6.
O NEEDS:QB,RB,OG,S
D NEEDS: S, ILB, EDGE
D SCHEME:3-4
PICK: Jalen Ramsey, DB Florida State
D NEEDS: S, ILB, EDGE
D SCHEME:3-4
PICK: Jalen Ramsey, DB Florida State
Baltimore your Ed reed replacement is back. I know they have to consider Tunsil right here and it's definitely a tough decision. With the amount of talent teams have at WR in this division they could use a general like Ramsey holding down the secondary |
7.
PICK: Ole Miss, T Laremy Tunsil
PICK: Ole Miss, T Laremy Tunsil
I think there's a chance he can surprise people and go to the Jags but in this mock he falls to San Fran who is absolutely elated. If Tunsil doesn't drop this far I see them trying to trade back with someone who wants to get Elliot. Anthony Davis boned San Fran but Tunsil replaces and they move on. |
8.
PICK- Ohio State, RB Ezekeil Elliot
PICK- Ohio State, RB Ezekeil Elliot
Elliot is far and away the best player on the draft board at this point. It makes a ton of sense to draft a star player that everyone is clamoring over and happened to go to school down the road at one of the most heavily followed football universities in the nation. |
9.
PICK: Houston, CB William Jackson III
PICK: Houston, CB William Jackson III
There's a good shot they go with Hargreaves here but if they want to knock off the kings of their division they are going to need a cornerback opposite of Brent Grimes who can match the height of the WRs they'll be playing in the division. Julio and Benjamin specifically |
10.
)
PICK: Ronnie Stanley T Ronnie Stanley
PICK: Ronnie Stanley T Ronnie Stanley
The giants are a little disappointed here that none of the studs fell as far as they thought could happen. Trading back and taking a receiver makes a lot of sense but they can get someone with their second rounder. So here they take Ronnie Stanley to help their decrepit line. Stanley is a large dude who plays with a lot of aggression. Macadoo needs to keep Eli upright so he can sling it 50 times a game. ( guessing they go WR in the second round Mike Thomas perhaps) |
11.
PICK: Clemson. DE Shaq Lawson
PICK: Clemson. DE Shaq Lawson
The bears need someone to get after the QB and Shaq Lawson has everything you look for in a pass rusher. He's got great size and paired it with terrific production in college. |
The saint suck at drafting (Jeff Ireland is a dope) and here the go with a guy who has a shit ton of potential but really needs more coaching in order to look at this pick a year from now and say he was worth it. No chance I take a guy that only had 4.5 sacks his last year in college with the 12th pick but I wouldn't put it past the Saints ( watch the Dolphins will get this fucking guy) |
13.
PICK: Ohio State, EB Elie Apple
PICK: Ohio State, EB Elie Apple
For the Record I hate this fucking pick. I don’t think Eli apple is anywhere near physical enough to compete as a #1 in the NFL. The Dolphins will try and get him here because he's large and Vance Joseph really likes big CBs let’s hope I’m wrong and they draft Hargreaves. |
14.
PICK: Louisville, DT Sheldon Rankins
PICK: Louisville, DT Sheldon Rankins
Rankins is an absolute monster, even though he's really only a 1 gap rusher he's going to eat up a lot of blocks for the Bruce Irvins/ Aldon smiths/ khalil Mack to destroy opposing Olines |
15.
PICK: Michigan St, T Jack Conkin
PICK: Michigan St, T Jack Conkin
Tennessee made out like bandits and get a really talented tackle in Conklin to pair with Lewan and support Mariota |
16.
PICK: Alabama, DT Jarran Reed
PICK: Alabama, DT Jarran Reed
The Lions need a ton of help and to start competing again they need to work on bolstering their once vaunted D lines. Jarran Reed is a huge force In the middle and has the chance to light it up if put in the right system. There are a lot of late reports that teams are really high on Reed. |
17
PICK: Ohio St, T Taylor Decker
PICK: Ohio St, T Taylor Decker
GIVE MATT SOME TIME. The Falcons offensive line was hard to watch at times last season. Ryan is a good QB when he has a couple seconds to throw. |
18
PICK: Ohio st, LB Darron Lee
I can see Lee going here, the Colts linebackers are abysmal and lee looks promising. I personally am not sold on him. He was a former QB turned safety turned linebacker so he's athletic but doesn't show me the hard-nosed mentality I'd like out of a linebacker |
19.
PICK: Alabama, LB Reggie Ragland
PICK: Alabama, LB Reggie Ragland
Perfect linebacker for Rex. Big, fast, team leader and punishing hitter. Ragland takes a bunch of heat for being bad in pass coverage but those concerns are majorly overblown, he's sufficient. |
20.
PICK: Eastern Michigan, OLB/DE Noah Spence
PICK: Eastern Michigan, OLB/DE Noah Spence
The Jets need an edge rusher and here they take a really intriguing talent who could be a steal at this point in the draft. Spence was dominant his first two seasons at OU before getting kicked out for two failed drug tests. I recently read that he sent the records for the 20 drug tests he has gotten since May to every single team’s front office. Todd Bowles was on the front lines of getting Tyrann Mathieu's shit together and become a great pro. Look for him to do it again with Spence. |
Redskins
21.
PICK: Alabama, DT A'Shawn Robinson
PICK: Alabama, DT A'Shawn Robinson
They have a need on the interior D line and A'shawn Robinson is a promising big body. He's got the physical traits to become a dominant run stuffer. He's not a great pass rusher but he's a leader in the locker room and has a good motor. |
22.
PICK: Arkansas, TE Hunter Henry
PICK: Arkansas, TE Hunter Henry
This would be a great fit, Henry is a really good tight end who has a really well rounded skillset. He's going to help with their new RB Miller as well as their new QB Osweiler in the passing game. |
23
PICK: TCU, WR Josh Doctson
PICK: TCU, WR Josh Doctson
A lot of people thought the Vikings would take Devante Parker last year and they passed on him. Doctson is the same type of basketball-like WR who can help Teddy out by winning contested jump balls regularly. |
24
PICK: Ole Miss, WR Laquan Treadwell
He slipped a bit and ends up being the second WR taken. The Bengals are in desperate need of a second WR and here they take Treadwell to pair up with AJ
PICK: Ole Miss, WR Laquan Treadwell
He slipped a bit and ends up being the second WR taken. The Bengals are in desperate need of a second WR and here they take Treadwell to pair up with AJ
25
PICK: WVU, S Karl Joseph
PICK: WVU, S Karl Joseph
Karl Joseph slipped a bit after his knee injury but he would have more the definitely been chosen around this point if not higher if he had stayed healthy. Tomlin is looking for D backs in this draft and I think he takes a shot on the stud Safety who played his college ball close to Pittsburgh at WVU. |
26
PICK: Baylor, DT Andrew Billings
Seattle gets a disruptive force inside who can clog up run lanes and eat up blocks for their numerous blitz packages. Billings has a relentless motor and is above average at getting to the QB for a DT. |
27
PICK: Miss st, DT/DE Chris Jones
PICK: Miss st, DT/DE Chris Jones
The packers need a DE and Chris Jones has an insane amount of potential he's absolutely massive and completely took over games at times throughout his career. |
28
PICK: Virginia Tech, CB Kendall Fuller
PICK: Virginia Tech, CB Kendall Fuller
Kendal Fuller goes here. They need someone to replace Sean Smith to pair with their stud Marcus Peters. Fuller has injury concerns but if a team doesn't think his injury is that concerning he's a great pick. |
29
PICK: Alabama, C Ryan Kelly
PICK: Alabama, C Ryan Kelly
Easy pick here, Having a solid center is imperative for the O Lines’ success. Ryan Kelly is good this works |
30
PICK : Alabama, RB Derrick Henry
PICK : Alabama, RB Derrick Henry
OMG this is such a good fit, Henry and Cam is an absolute nightmare for opposing teams. Teams are worried about his receiving abilities but the Panthers hardly ever throw to their RBs anyway so WHO CARES? |
31.
PICK: Memphis, QB Paxton Lynch
PICK: Memphis, QB Paxton Lynch
They get their QB of the future who will sit a year behind Sanchez. Paxton lynch is a hillbilly |
